Neal Shah, MD

Associate Professor, Internal Medicine
As a graduate of Saint George’s Medical School in Grenada, Dr. Shah knows the challenges of navigating through basic sciences, clinical rotations, and ERAS applications as an international medical graduate (IMG) in order to obtain a residency position. After going through the process himself, Dr. Shah realized that if he had a mentor to guide him through the complex residency application and interview process, he would have been more prepared, less stressed out, and in a better position when it came to starting his physician career. We started A2 consulting in order to help our future colleagues better navigate a system that seems to constantly put up barriers for international medical graduates.
